ER Trip #1

Evan finally made his 1st trip to the ER. 

He fell yesterday, at school, and landed right on his face into his nap cot.  The pediatrician recommended a trip to the ER to get things X-rayed.  Except that the ER doctor said there was nothing they could do IF he did break his nose.  So....no need to do X-rays.  Thanks for nothing, doctor!  I'm pretty convinced it's more than "soft tissue damage"but I am not a doctor, I just play one as a mommy.  Things are still pretty swollen and painful to the touch.  Ouch!

He goes to the pediatrician in 2 weeks - she'll check things out then when the swelling has gone down.  

This is the 1st of many broken somethings for this little guy...just never really heard of a 2 year old breaking his nose.
