Wowzer wow!

We have been living at roller coaster speeds over here. Things are changing and changing fast.

For those of you in my small world that don't already know - we are MOVING! We sold our precious house on Hazelwood Court in 21 days!

Yes, people. 21 days!

We got an offer on it the week after we got back from our Summer 09 Road Trip. Things quickly went into overdrive.

We made an offer on the house we saw as #3. Even though we saw 17 houses after that - we still liked #3 the best. Turns out we had to make a 2nd offer, write a sweet and convincing letter that we just loved that house, which we did - and it worked! We are closing on both houses on August 28th if all goes as so carefully planned.

We will be moving on the 29th/30th if you feel so inclined to come over and help. We have been packing and packing. It turns out that it's not so easy to keep living in your house when a majority of it is packed up. But we are making do.

And the kicker is that we are back to work, back to school starting, back to everything that is "normal" in our lives. It will happen and we are so excited and anxious to move in already. Enough with the waiting!

And SECONDLY - the Crop for the Cure for Team a New Day is this Saturday. Things have been moving along quite fast on that one too. We have about 70 registrations turned in and we are expecting a few more to trickle in. It will be the Cropping (scrapbooking) event of the summer! Contact me if you aren't already coming and want some info.
