Superhero Party

This year we kept things low key and easy - for us, anyway! The boys' birthday party was this past Saturday at Jump For Fun in Southlake. All the kids had a great time, even some of the adults got in on the action too!

I just could not pull off another "in home" party this year with the recent move and all. Just been too exhausted on a daily basis. Brennan requested a bounce house party and his wish was easily granted. They make it so easy to have a party there. I did do the cake...Batman cake with some Spiderman cupcakes. Not my best work - but again with the exhausted thing. AND the kids didn't mind - they slurped it all up!
Happy Birthday, Boys!

Evan is Three

Yes, that's right - my baby turned 3 years old on Thursday.

It just can't be possible - 3!

October 1st starts our crazy month of October off with the Mayor of Crazytown's birthday. That's been a nickname of Evan's for sometime now. He definitely lives up to it at times and then other times he can be so sweet and caring.

We had a little pizza party with the family. I bought the cutest cake at Kroger's. And we opened some presents - what more could a 3 year old ask for.

We got him this cute little scooter he's been riding around the house.

3 is going to be a big year for Evan. He is in the midst of potty training - not really there yet - but we're working on it.

He has lost some of his fearlessness...just this fall we have noticed how he is a little more leary of new situations and new people. This definitely did not used to be the case for him.

Playing soccer for the first time ever - again, with the shy business - but I think he's just observing the action before he makes his stealth move.

He is a charmer and knows when to use it.

And he says the funniest things.

Oh, and we are just waiting for him to kick his big brothers a** any minute!

Happy Birthday, Evan!!!
